| after 3 months of use with my water injection (and 3 years of using the boost controller) too much water got into the boost solenoid and killed the motors inside. this was partly my fault for having too much water get injected. it was partly HKS' fault for designing boost to go through the motors that control the boost. i wanted to replace just the solenoid but HKS no longer sells it since they have the EVC 6. HKS' proprietary design of having most of the electronics in the solenoid makes it a very expensive unit to replace. i have since moved on to other boost controllers with much simpler solenoids (in case of a future failure due to water).
